BENEFITS OF CRIMPING

Hose crimping has a lot of advantages in comparison to swaging. In crimping:

• the force that the dies apply to the ferrule is evenly distributed onto the hose insert, thus creating a robust connection that is perfectly sealed on all length of the insert tail.
• Up to 200T of crimp force is applied to the ferrule to lock the insert & the ferrule together
• Metal to metal connection is established for Interlock inserts
• No restriction of flow - the flow through the insert is not limited after the crimping process

DIAMETERS

Thanks to a huge range of hoses and fittings we stock on every of our Hydroshops and professional Manuli crimping machines, we are able to produce a flexible hose assembly starting from the smallest diameters like DN 2 to large bore DN 102 (4”). We crimp rubber, metal and thermoplastic hoses with synthetic cord, steel wire braid, steel wire spiral and multispiral reinforcement.

Our Hydroshops are able to crimp flexible hoses for a variety of fluid systems: hydraulic hoses, industrial hoses, air conditioning and refrigeration hoses, water cleaning and blasting hoses, pneumatic hoses, cooling hoses and many more.

We have been offering hose crimping services for many years to our customers from many industries. Our experience in hose assembly and application knowledge allow us to crimp hoses specifically for the requirements of certain industries and specific machines.

SAME HOSE ASSEMBLY QUALITY ACROSS THE FLUICONNECTO NETWORK

We produce our hydraulic hose assemblies using the Manuli Integrated System – a procedure regulating the selection of hose assembly components and crimping parameters. Hoses that are made according to the Manuli System comprise of components made by one manufacturer and are crimped with machines also made by the same manufacturer – Manuli Hydraulics.

Only then, we can be sure that the hose, fitting and ferrule will match perfectly, creating a hose assembly that is more durable and safer, thus offering a longer service life and parameters exceeding international requirements. Hoses made according to the Manuli System are crimped with Manuli Hydraulics machines, offering the required crimping precision that guarantees the hose assembly safety.

WAITING TIME FOR HOSE ASSEMBLY CRIMPING

Most of the hose assemblies are crimped in about 5 minutes. Some hose assemblies may take 10-15 minutes to produce if they are very long, large bore or require a hose protection to be installed.
